Loss or defect
Our IT helpdesk in the IT Service Center (1st floor, room 1740a, Mönchebergstraße 11, 34125 Kassel) is open again. Initially, we have reduced opening hours here (Mon - Fri 09:00 - 18:00). Replacement cards can be picked up on site again.
For students there is a loss fee of 35 Euro. An invoice will be issued for the loss fee. If your card has been stolen and you present us with a report (§§ 242 ff. StGB) to the police, the issuance of the replacement card is free of charge.
For students: A passport-size photo is mandatory for all new cards. Please upload a suitable photo in advance in eCampus ("My Studies" -> "Student Services" -> "CampusCard Picture").
If you have notified the Registrar's Office or the Human Resources Department of a name change, you can apply for a new card free of charge on site one day later at the earliest.
And if you are not affiliated with the university?
You are neither a student nor an employee and would like to apply for a CampusCard or need a replacement card to use the university library? If so, please contact the library's User Services directly:
