Not in the program itself. However, you can copy a shortcut of the exe file to the Windows start folder, which will start the program automatically after logging in.

To do this, create a shortcut to the program and then place it in the Windows startup folder. To be able to see the "AppData" folder, you may need to activate the "Hidden elements" option under "View".

Rocket.Chat better fulfills the requirements of the University of Kassel in terms of both data protection and general functionality. For example, Rocket.Chat is connected to the IDM, which means that password and name changes are synchronized directly.

The server must be reloaded once. To do this, right-click on the Uni Kassel server symbol (the red rocket at the top left) and then select "reload server" or "reload server".

Similar to external SharePoint accounts, it will be possible to create accounts via IDM. This functionality is still being implemented and is currently not available.

Click on your profile icon and then on "My account". Then adjust the volume of the notification sound under "Settings" at the bottom under "Sound".

If the "join automatically" option is not activated in the team above the channel, users must be added manually using the member icon.

Make sure that the person was already registered with Rocketchat.

If you do not want to exchange direct messages, you can block other people. To do this, click on the person's profile picture in the direct message history and select "Block".

If, after changing the display name in IDM, the old display name is still displayed when using Rocket.chat, please log in once via the browser(rocketchat.uni-kassel.de). The display name should then be synchronized correctly.
